Dune London<\/a> has announced its support for charity partner YoungMinds as part of their #HelloYellow campaign<\/strong> and World Mental Health Day on Saturday 10 October.<\/p>\n

The company is to release a range of charitable accessories <\/strong>including a canvas shopper tote and a set of two face masks, with 100% of profits supporting YoungMinds.<\/strong><\/p>\n

YoungMinds is a charity committed to bettering the wellbeing and mental health of children and young adults living in the UK.<\/p>\n

The charity said in a statement: \"In light of the pandemic, YoungMinds' services are more vital than ever to help combat the rising cases of loneliness, anxiety and depression among children and young adults.\"<\/p>\n

Gillian Anderson has also taken part in the the campaign, continuing her partnership as brand ambassador with the footwear company.<\/p>\n

The brand recently launched its Autumn\/Winter 2020 campaign<\/a>, focusing less about where its shoes are worn and more about how they are worn.<\/p>\n

Commenting on the importance of mental health ahead of World Mental Health Day \u00a0and considering the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Maryam Meddin, Founder and CEO of The Soke, a bespoke psychological wellbeing concept, told TheIndustry.fashion:<\/p>\n

\"This year has been tough for many but what is so encouraging is the fact that people are now feeling able to talk openly about their mental health challenges. The rise in demand for help should be seen as a positive sign of a cultural shift: the efforts of those who\u2019ve campaigned for the de-stigmatisation of common issues such as depression and anxiety have not been in vain.<\/p>\n

\"Occasions such as World Mental Health Day this weekend contribute enormously to bringing issues into sharp focus and spotlighting the distinction between mental health and mental illness. COVID-19 has also accelerated this understanding \u2013 that experiencing stress or despondency doesn\u2019t equate to sickness \u2013 but there\u2019s still a long way to go before we get from 'it\u2019s ok to talk' to 'it\u2019s actually healthy to talk'.<\/p>\n
