Savile Row tailoring supremo Huntsman is tapping in to the \u201cnew normal\u201d message by launching a virtual shopping service<\/strong> \u2013 powered by Hero \u2013 so customers can be fitted by a Savile Row tailor from their laptops, called \u201cHuntsman at Home.\u201d<\/p>\n

Founded in 1849, the company was brought in to the modern sharp suit world with its\u00a0 \u201ccostume-to-collection<\/em>\u201d\u00a0Kingsman<\/em>\u00a0line for MR PORTER - off the bat of dressing the cast for the three-film franchise \u2013 and is now focusing on innovation to bring its iconic style in to the online environment.<\/p>\n

Huntsman head of retail, Taj Phull, said: \u201cHuntsman at Home\u201d, powered by Hero, enables our client managers to bring the luxury experience of a visit to Huntsman Savile Row to our clients all over the world.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThe introduction of our new \u2018Made\u00a0To Order\u2019 service allows customers to reimagine our ready-to-wear collections, and create one-off pieces with a choice of over 1,000 cloths, delivered to their door in as little as four weeks.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Previously, the storied experience of having a Huntsman coat or pair of trousers was limited to customers who could travel to New York or London. Even 20 years ago, visitors to Savile Row would have found the curtains drawn on the shop windows during the day, signifying that it was an exclusive experience for only a select few.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fast forward to today, with this launch of the brand's new virtual shopping service, anyone with a laptop can be fitted by a Savile Row tailor.<\/p>\n

With \"Huntsman at Home\" online shoppers can now create unique garments from the brand's ready-to-wear and newly launched made-to-order<\/strong> collection with the help of a Huntsman specialist.<\/p>\n

Using\u00a0chat, text and video,<\/strong> online\u00a0customers can access the unique experience\u00a0of having\u00a0their measurements taken by a professional tailor and getting expert\u00a0advice on fit and fabric.<\/p>\n

In another example of the brand\u2019s adaptation to changing shopper behaviour, Huntsman has also just launched with \u201cbuy now, pay later\u201d provider Klarna.<\/strong><\/p>\n
