The Rolling Stones are getting to set to open a \u201cworld first\u201d branded standalone store called \u2018RS No. 9 Carnaby\u2019<\/strong> at 9 Carnaby Street in London on 9 September, 2020, in partnership with Bravado, Universal Music Group\u2019s merchandise and brand management company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key fashion pieces and accessories brandishing the band\u2019s iconic lips and tongue logo will be the focal point, with higher end designs \u2013 including leather jackets with the logo on the back<\/strong> \u2013 upgrading the usual \u201cmerch\u201d band offer to appeal to a more discerning Carnaby Street shopper and fans of the band of all ages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perhaps fittingly, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood used to buy their flamboyant stage gear from John Stephen \u2013 \u201cThe King of Carnaby Street\u201d \u2013 in the 1960\u2019s and early 70\u2019s.<\/p>\n
