{"id":166676,"date":"2020-06-18T09:22:00","date_gmt":"2020-06-18T09:22:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/lardini-signs-license-agreement-with-pvh-corp-for-tommy-hilfiger-tailored-production\/"},"modified":"2021-08-06T12:06:12","modified_gmt":"2021-08-06T12:06:12","slug":"lardini-signs-license-agreement-with-pvh-corp-for-tommy-hilfiger-tailored-production","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/lardini-signs-license-agreement-with-pvh-corp-for-tommy-hilfiger-tailored-production\/","title":{"rendered":"Lardini signs license agreement with PVH Corp. for Tommy Hilfiger Tailored production"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/intelligence\/pvh\">PVH Corp.<\/a> has signed a <strong>licensing agreement with Italian tailoring specialist Lardini for the design, production and distribution of <a href=\"https:\/\/uk.tommy.com\/mens-tailored-clothing\">Tommy Hilfiger Tailored<\/a> pieces<\/strong> across the Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific regions.<\/p>\n<p>The collaboration will <strong>begin in the Spring\/Summer 2021 season<\/strong>, with the deal aiming to increase the global reach and sales of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/intelligence\/tommy-hilfiger\">Tommy Hilfiger<\/a>\u00a0brand and its products.<\/p>\n<p>Specialising in men's formalwear and sportswear, <strong>Lardini was founded in 1978, producing pieces for its own menswear brand as well as menswear collections for other houses.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Some of the company's most notable clients have included Etro, Dolce &amp; Gabbana and Burberry.<\/p>\n<p>Martijn Hagman, CEO of Tommy Hilfiger Global and PVH Europe, said in a statement: \u201cGlobally celebrated for their excellence in tailoring and craftsmanship, <strong>we are confident that Lardini will continue to build on the innovative and sophisticated spirit at the heart of our tailored collection.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe believe that leveraging Lardini\u2019s market expertise will enable us to further expand our tailored product categories in Europe and Asia.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In 2013, Tommy Hilfiger introduced a refreshed and dedicated tailored department, Tommy Hilfiger Tailored, with modern fits and cuts, and products manufactured in Europe from mainly Italian fabrics.<br \/><br \/><strong>With this latest deal with Lardini, Tommy Hilfiger's formal offering is now handled entirely by other companies in Europe and Asia.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/subscribe-now\/?utm_source=website&amp;utm_medium=banner&amp;utm_campaign=insight_button&amp;utm_content=insight_button_0719\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-143500 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/wp-content\/uploads\/THE_INSIGHT_1200x260-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"260\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p> [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":49,"featured_media":138999,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_exactmetrics_skip_tracking":false,"_exactmetrics_sitenote_active":false,"_exactmetrics_sitenote_note":"","_exactmetrics_sitenote_category":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[9763,6],"tags":[10914,16584,13752,14431,10137,9746],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.7 -
