{"id":166663,"date":"2020-06-17T10:40:00","date_gmt":"2020-06-17T10:40:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/yoox-collaborates-with-jw-anderson-with-genderfluid-collection\/"},"modified":"2021-08-06T12:06:11","modified_gmt":"2021-08-06T12:06:11","slug":"yoox-collaborates-with-jw-anderson-with-genderfluid-collection","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/yoox-collaborates-with-jw-anderson-with-genderfluid-collection\/","title":{"rendered":"Yoox collaborates with JW Anderson with genderfluid collection"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/intelligence\/yoox\">Yoox<\/a> is <strong>celebrating two decades in business with an exclusive gender-fluid capsule collection<\/strong> with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/intelligence\/jw-anderson\">JW Anderson<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The capsule collection of coordinated, gender-fluid separates that will be <strong>available online from this Thursday.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>10 pieces feature in the collection<\/strong> across ready-to-wear, handbags and footwear ranging from $380 to $1,140.<\/p>\n\n<p>Jonathan Anderson, who began his partnership with Yoox in 2011, told <a href=\"https:\/\/wwd.com\/fashion-news\/designer-luxury\/jw-anderson-yoox-genderless-capsule-1203654657\/\">WWD<\/a>: \u201cI remember when Yoox first approached us about doing something for their 20th anniversary and I thought it would be interesting to do something that looked at things we have done in the past at JW Anderson.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe really looked at what we thought would make sense for the capsule and created some asymmetric pieces, a shirt dress and a skirt, and a patchwork trench coat. <strong>Patchwork is a recurring JW Anderson code and I think the colour palette feels very British<\/strong> in a way and Britishness is a part of our DNA.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<p>Many fashion brands have continued to show their support for the LGBTQ+ community during Pride Month, throughout Pride Month 2020.
