{"id":166641,"date":"2020-06-15T09:34:00","date_gmt":"2020-06-15T09:34:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/boohoo-prepares-for-shareholder-revolt-amid-1m-ceo-payout\/"},"modified":"2021-08-06T12:06:10","modified_gmt":"2021-08-06T12:06:10","slug":"boohoo-prepares-for-shareholder-revolt-amid-1m-ceo-payout","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/boohoo-prepares-for-shareholder-revolt-amid-1m-ceo-payout\/","title":{"rendered":"Boohoo prepares for shareholder revolt amid \u00a31m CEO payout"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Online fast fashion giant, Boohoo braces for a shareholder revolt over a payout to chief executive John Lyttle and some executive pay rises<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The Sunday Times reported<em>, <\/em>advisory group ISS told investors to vote against Boohoo\u2019s remuneration policy at its AGM.<\/p>\n<p>The fast fashion brand, is set to payout \u00a31.04 million to Lyttle and salary increases from 18 per cent to 30 per cent for other senior executives.<\/p>\n<p>Lyttle will also be receiving a \u00a350 million share award if he can take Boohoo\u2019s market cap above \u00a36 billion by March 2024.
