It has said the store closures, which took place at close of business on 21 March, were to protect the <strong>health and safety of its staff but also to give them a chance to help out in the local community<\/strong> if they wish to do so.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/B-CMVY0Fpo8\/<\/p>\n<p>It is also <strong>operating a #smallactsofkindness campaign on social media.<\/strong> Each manager of its 55 stores will be gifting 55 critical NHS workers in their local hospital with \u00a3100 gift cards.<\/p>\n<p>Kurt Geiger opened its first stores on London's Sloane Street and Bond Street in 1963. Now, as well as its standalone stores, it operates\u00a0170 concessions in department stores including Selfridges and Harrods.
