{"id":165822,"date":"2020-03-15T23:45:00","date_gmt":"2020-03-15T23:45:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/lululemon-closes-stores-during-covid-19-pandemic\/"},"modified":"2021-08-06T12:05:00","modified_gmt":"2021-08-06T12:05:00","slug":"lululemon-closes-stores-during-covid-19-pandemic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/lululemon-closes-stores-during-covid-19-pandemic\/","title":{"rendered":"Lululemon closes stores during COVID-19 pandemic"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lululemon has joined a growing list of fashion and apparel businesses to announce <strong>temporary store closures as a result of the coronavirus COVID-19<\/strong> pandemic.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The athletic apparel specialist is closing its stores in North America and Europe, from 16 March to 28 March, joining <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/nike-closes-stores-across-us-and-western-europe-due-to-coronavirus\/\">Nike<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/abercrombie-fitch-joins-global-store-shut-down-movement\/\">Abercrombie &amp; Fitch<\/a> and<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/urban-outfitters-closes-all-stores-globally-due-to-coronavirus\/\"> Urban Outfitters<\/a> who <strong>all announced similar moves over the weekend.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lululemon\u00a0said on Sunday workers would continue to be paid and they will receive pay for 14 days if they are asked to self-isolate due to the infection.
