{"id":164900,"date":"2021-05-18T18:46:08","date_gmt":"2021-05-18T18:46:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/iconic-ibizan-boutique-revolver-launches-its-own-label\/"},"modified":"2021-08-06T12:11:29","modified_gmt":"2021-08-06T12:11:29","slug":"iconic-ibizan-boutique-revolver-launches-its-own-label","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/iconic-ibizan-boutique-revolver-launches-its-own-label\/","title":{"rendered":"Iconic Ibizan boutique reVOLVER launches its own label"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Iconic Ibizan boutique\u00a0reVOLVER<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0has <\/span>has<strong> launched its first own-label collection re:001,<\/strong> available exclusively in-store and on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.revolveribiza.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.revolveribiza.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>re:001 comprises <strong>10 styles for women and 12 for men,<\/strong> with prices starting from \u20ac79 rising to<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>\u20ac325.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0The aesthetic\u00a0combines the spirit of Ibiza blended with the avant\u00a0garde and sports luxe.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>reVOLVER founders <strong>Catherine and Jean-Paul Sanchez created the collection in collaboration with design director Cat van Baal.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In a bid to encourage a more sustainable approach to fashion consumption and to do away with the seasonal approach, only one re:001 collection will be released each year.<\/p>\n<p>Stand out pieces include<strong> prints featuring abstracted prints of the disused windmill opposite the DC-10 nightclub<\/strong> on the island and a day-to-night jumpsuit for women. All pieces are produced in the monochrome palette the store is famous for.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cWe set out to capture the unique spirit of Ibiza. Across all the island\u2019s many personalities, the one constant is being \u2018free\u2019, a mental and physical freedom that liberates the soul. <strong>re:001 and the reVOLVER brand represent this freedom that only Ibiza can achieve<\/strong>,\u201d said Jean-Paul Sanchez.<\/p>\n<p>The collection, produced in Portugal, has been created with sustainability in mind. <strong>All packaging and labels are 100% recycled and over 60% of the line is made of organic cotton<\/strong> and BCI (Better Cotton initiative) approved yarns, Viscose Ecovera (50% less emissions than standard Viscose) and Tencel (less water than conventional cotton).<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>reVOLVER <strong>opened in 2008 and quickly established itself as a go-to store for DJs, club-kids and the style-savvy jet-set,<\/strong> offering collections from designers such as Rick Owens DRKSHDW and Y-3 by Yohji Yamamoto.
