href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/intelligence\/hugo-boss\">Hugo Boss<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/intelligence\/levi-strauss-co\">Levi\u2019s<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/intelligence\/lacoste\">Lacoste<\/a> <\/strong>set to establish the centre as a major new fashion destination when it opens this spring.<\/p>\n<p>Located just 30 minutes from Birmingham, the \u00a3160 million designer outlet is to open in the next few months and will feature brands including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/intelligence\/tommy-hilfiger\">Tommy Hilfiger<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/intelligence\/reiss\">Reiss<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/intelligence\/ted-baker\">Ted Baker<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/intelligence\/calvin-klein-jeans\">Calvin Klein<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/intelligence\/adidas\">Adidas<\/a>\u00a0and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/intelligence\/skechers\">Skechers<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>McArthurGlen Designer Outlet West Midlands will <strong>host up to 80 brands in its first phase<\/strong>, offering savings of up to 60% compared to retail prices.<strong> Spanning 285,000 square feet in total over two phases, the centre will create 1,000 new retail jobs<\/strong> for the local community.<\/p>\n<p>Tom Miklausic, UK Leasing Director at McArthurGlen, commented: \u201cWe are immensely proud to be opening the UK\u2019s only stand-alone shopping centre this year and returning to the market where our business began over 25 years ago, when we introduced designer outlet retailing in Europe with Cheshire Oaks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur latest investment <strong>shows the huge confidence we have in the UK retail market and the appetite of our brand partners<\/strong> to continue working with us to grow their bricks-and-mortar channels.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The project is a joint venture between McArthurGlen, Aviva Investors and The Richardson Family.<\/p>\n<p>Darren Freed, Director at Aviva Investors, added: \u201cOur long-standing partnership with McArthurGlen is entering into an exciting new chapter as we gear up to open our third designer outlet together in the UK.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInvesting in high quality designer outlets is in line with our strategic core objectives, so with its strong mix of international brands, exceptional location and six million customers on its doorstep, <strong>Designer Outlet West Midlands has all the ingredients to be a thriving, high-performing retail asset that provides a major boost to Britain\u2019s retail landscape.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As with all McArthurGlen centres, Designer Outlet West Midlands will <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/mcarthurglen-pilots-two-new-digital-services-at-cheshire-oaks\/\">feature a number of online platforms to deliver a seamless experience for customers<\/a> and support brand partners in driving performance.<\/p>\n<p>Queue management app By Appointment will enable guests to book times in participating stores and join real-time virtual queues from their smartphones.<\/p>\n<p>The development will be McArthurGlen\u2019s first UK opening in over 20 years and the seventh British centre in its portfolio, joining its leading designer outlets in Ashford, Bridgend, Cheshire Oaks, East Midlands, Swindon and York.<\/p>\n<p><a
