{"id":162334,"date":"2019-10-10T10:06:56","date_gmt":"2019-10-10T10:06:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/khaadi-closes-four-stores-as-part-of-a-pre-pack-administration\/"},"modified":"2021-08-12T14:04:45","modified_gmt":"2021-08-12T14:04:45","slug":"khaadi-closes-four-stores-as-part-of-a-pre-pack-administration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/khaadi-closes-four-stores-as-part-of-a-pre-pack-administration\/","title":{"rendered":"Khaadi closes four stores as part of a pre-pack administration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Khaadi, the Asian fashion retailer, has <strong>closed four of its 10 UK stores as part of a pre-pack administration deal.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The retailer, which hails from Pakistan, launched in the UK in 2013 and\u00a0<strong>operated from 10 stores nationwide,<\/strong> including stores in some of the UK\u2019s best-known shopping locations such as Westfield Stratford, Westfield London (White City), Brent Cross, Bull Ring Birmingham, Trafford Centre Manchester and Trinity Leeds.<\/p>\n<p>Six will remain up and running after the sale was agreed by administrators, Keith Marshall and Gareth Harris of RSM with Weaves UK Trading Ltd.<strong> At the time of its administration Khaadi employed 100 staff<\/strong>, some of whom have been made redundant as a result of the store closures. Khaadi\u2019s management team, which started the business, will remain in place.<\/p>\n<p>Law firm Weightmans advised RSM on the transaction.
