The event will take place at the V&amp;A Museum in Kensington on 13 November and is open to the public (there is currently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.co.uk\/e\/sustainability-in-the-fashion-industry-event-va-london-tickets-51581238874\">a waiting list for tickets here<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Following a previous session, featuring fashion innovators and educators on 30 October, which raised concerns about the impact of fast fashion generated by pure-play etailers, Creagh has written to the bosses of <strong>ASOS, Missguided, Amazon and Boohoo<\/strong> asking them to answer key questions about workers rights, the lifespan of garments, recycled content and use of synthetic fibres.<\/p>\n<p>Creagh has <strong>asked the business leaders to respond to her questions by 15 November<\/strong> and has informed them that their responses will be published, including nil returns, and that they may be called to give evidence to MPs in person. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.parliament.uk\/documents\/commons-committees\/environmental-audit\/correspondence\/181102-Chair-to-ASOS-environmental-impact-of-fashion-industry.pdf\">See Creagh's letter to ASOS CEO Nick Beighton here<\/a>. His contemporaries at Amazon, Missguided and Boohoo all received the same letter.<\/p>\n<p>The letter follows a similar one Creagh <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ben-richardson.com\/theindustry\/mp-asks-fashion-bosses-to-reveal-their-environmental-record\/\">sent to the leaders of the top 10 fashion companies<\/a> including\u00a0<strong>Marks &amp; Spencer, Primark, Next, Arcadia Group, Asda, TK Maxx and HomeSense, Tesco, JD Sports Fashion, Debenhams and Sports Direct International.\u00a0<\/strong>These companies too have been informed that they may be called to sit in front of MPs to account for their environmental practices.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The full line-up of panellists for Tuesday's session includes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Claire Bergkamp, Sustainability &amp;
