{"id":160323,"date":"2018-08-16T13:43:32","date_gmt":"2018-08-16T13:43:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/j-crew-announces-uk-expansion-with-john-lewis\/"},"modified":"2021-08-12T13:53:33","modified_gmt":"2021-08-12T13:53:33","slug":"j-crew-announces-uk-expansion-with-john-lewis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/j-crew-announces-uk-expansion-with-john-lewis\/","title":{"rendered":"J Crew announces UK expansion with John Lewis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>US brand <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jcrew.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">J Crew<\/a> has announced plans to expand in the UK by opening concessions within branches of John Lewis across the country.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->From this month J Crew concessions will be debuting\u00a0within five John Lewis locations; <strong>Oxford Street,\u00a0Peter Jones (Sloane Square), Westfield White City, Cheadle and Bluewater. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sister brand <strong>Madewell will also open nine additional concessions,<\/strong> following its launch at Westfield\u00a0White City earlier this year. As well as being in present in the same five stores as J Crew, it will also be sold at\u00a0Cambridge, Cribbs Causeway, Liverpool, Southampton and Trafford.<\/p>\n<p>Both of the brands will also be stocked on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.johnlewis.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">John Lewis's website<\/a> and the offer will include\u00a0a selection of <strong>womenswear, women\u2019s accessories, menswear and Crewcuts by J.Crew, the brand\u2019s kidswear line.<\/strong> Prices for the J Crew range start at \u00a38 moving up to \u00a3350, while Madewell, which is a younger denim-focused line, ranges from\u00a0\u00a312.50 to \u00a3498.<\/p>\n<p>John Lewis will also stock\u00a0select collaborations <strong>such as the recently launched J.Crew x Abigail Borg line,<\/strong>\u00a0the exclusive collection designed by the Birmingham-based print designer, which brings her patterns to womenswear for the first time ever.<\/p>\n<p>J Crew has six standalone stores in London, on Regent Street, Brompton Road, Redchurch Street, Marylebone High Street, Lamb's Conduit Street and Sloane Square.
