{"id":160207,"date":"2018-07-10T14:00:20","date_gmt":"2018-07-10T14:00:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/sheffields-meadowhall-lights-up-for-citys-pride-celebrations\/"},"modified":"2021-08-12T13:53:15","modified_gmt":"2021-08-12T13:53:15","slug":"sheffields-meadowhall-lights-up-for-citys-pride-celebrations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/sheffields-meadowhall-lights-up-for-citys-pride-celebrations\/","title":{"rendered":"Sheffield's Meadowhall lights up for city's Pride celebrations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sheffield's supermall Meadowhall has been illuminated with the<strong> rainbow colours of the LGBT flag ahead of the city's Pride event, which takes place on 28 July<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Officially switched on last night, the illuminations are <strong>a first for the centre and mark the official start of its Pride fundraising activities.<\/strong> The centre, which has a distinctive glass roof, is visible from the M1 and will be illuminated every evening ahead of the event.<\/p>\n<p>Photographer\u00a0James Marshall<strong> captured the colourful spectacular using a camera mounted on a drone.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sheffield Meadowhall is owned by British Land and has<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/\/60m-refurbishment-meadowhall-complete\/\">\u00a0recently undergone a \u00a360m revamp<\/a> while a further \u00a340m has been invested by brands on their stores.<\/p>\n<p>New brands added during the refurb include the first-ever physical store for online retailer <strong>Joe Browns, <\/strong>as well as <strong>Michael Kors, Flannels, Urban Decay, Skinny Dip, Tag Heuer, iSmash, Diesel, Joules, Jack Wills,<\/strong> Neal\u2019s Yard, Nespresso, T2, schuh Kids, Pret a Manger, GBK, Barburrito, and Tapas Revolution.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p> [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":11,"featured_media":148907,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_exactmetrics_skip_tracking":false,"_exactmetrics_sitenote_active":false,"_exactmetrics_sitenote_note":"","_exactmetrics_sitenote_category":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[6,10494],"tags":[11870,11869,12247,9],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.7 -
