Kate Spade has opened the doors of its first standalone UK store outside of London<\/strong> at Bluewater in Kent.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The premium US fashion and lifestyle brand has opened a\u00a01,600 sq ft boutique on the lower Guildhall<\/strong> next to its sister brand Coach and opposite Michael Kors.\u00a0Designed by Househam Henderson, the new store stocks the brand\u2019s full collection of handbags, small leather goods, apparel, footwear, fashion accessories and stationery.<\/p>\n To accommodate the arrival of Kate Spade, British luxury brand\u00a0Aspinal of London, has relocated<\/strong> to a 1,300 sq ft unit on the upper Guildhall adjacent to Jo Malone.<\/p>\n Robert Hardie, Senior Portfolio Manager at Landsec, co-owner and asset manager of Bluewater, said: \u201cThe premium retail experience provided by kate spade extends Bluewater\u2019s appeal among affluent guests. This latest opening joins a stellar line-up of aspirational and premium brands<\/strong> within the scheme. The launch clearly shows strong demand from high-end US brands to secure a foothold in Bluewater, following in the footsteps of Michael Kors and Coach.\u201d<\/p>\n This opening marks Kate Spade\u2019s fifth location in the UK<\/strong>, which also operates stores on London's Regent Street, Covent Garden, Sloane Square and Westfield.
