Sophia Webster<\/strong> has unveiled a new content-driven website<\/a> in response to a rapidly growing fanbase of \u201cdigitally-savvy, content-thirsty\u201d customers.<\/p>\n

The British footwear and accessories designer<\/strong> has achieved a triple-digit growth in online sales<\/strong> in the past year alone and has increased her social media following by more than 165%. Online sales now account for \u00a31m in gross sales<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Sophia Webster's new website: designed as a grid to reflect social media channels<\/p><\/div>\n

The new site is designed to fuse content and commerce<\/strong>, reflecting Webster\u2019s \u201cglossy, high-octane\u201d brand imagery. Catering to Webster\u2019s audience of digital natives, the platform introduces features such as a regular playlist mixed by the site\u2019s new resident DJ, DJ Yasmin, and curated by Rinse FM.<\/p>\n

Developed in partnership with London-based digital agency Electric Labs and designer Bradley Bell<\/strong>, the site is fully responsive across four devices (widescreen, desktop, tablet and mobile), with a one-page check-out mechanic and real-time stock levels.<\/p>\n

A grid-based layout takes cues from social media channels and allow for adaptable and ever-changing content feeds. Images from Webster\u2019s London Fashion Week presentations<\/strong>, user-generated content submitted by shoppers, campaign films, and behind-the-scenes<\/strong> looks at Webster\u2019s design sketches also feature.<\/p>\n

Webster has enjoyed a high-profile 12 months. Earlier this year she announced a collaboration with Mattel for Barbie<\/a>, which resulted in a collection of nine styles of shoes for adults and children that played on Barbie<\/strong> and Webster\u2019s styles.
