White Stuff CEO steps down following TFG London acquisition
White Stuff CEO Jo Jenkins is stepping down from her role after seven years, following the acquisition of the brand by Hobbs, Whistles and Phase Eight-owner TFG London in October 2024.
As part of the acquisition, TFG kept White Stuff’s experienced senior leadership team on board, led by Jenkins, though White Stuff’s founders, George Treves and Sean Thomas, exited the business.
At the time, Jenkins called TFG London the "ideal owner" of White Stuff. The search for her successor is now believed to be underway.
Posting on LinkedIn today, Jenkins said: "I want to share the news that after seven incredible years leading White Stuff, and following a smooth transition to our new ownership under TFG Brands London, I have decided to step down as CEO to pursue new opportunities.
"Leading this unique British brand back to growth has been one of the greatest privileges of my career. I’ve worked with our talented team to transform White Stuff into the thriving, modern multi-channel lifestyle brand it is today. Despite challenges like the Covid era, we’ve nurtured what makes White Stuff distinctive, driving a full brand transformation that has attracted record numbers of new customers.
"Together, we’ve built a business poised for significant growth, with fantastic products our customers love and keep coming back for, a growing shop estate, a top-class e-commerce platform, and expanding wholesale and international channels. All supported by our brilliant people and culture.
"The acquisition by TFG London in October 2024 was a testament to White Stuff’s performance and potential, aligning us with brands like Hobbs, Whistles, and Phase Eight. I’ve worked closely with our team and TFG London to ensure a seamless transition. With this milestone achieved, I feel now is the right time to pass the baton, confident that White Stuff is in very good hands with TFG London’s experienced leadership and our senior team driving our ambitious plans."
