Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City shopping centres are adding InPost parcel lockers to their sites, making online shopping more convenient for consumers while strengthening its sustainability commitments and helping its footfall.

In normal circumstances the two Westfield sites have a combined footfall of over 75 million annually, which the InPost sites are predicted to increase by offering customers added convenience for their online shopping by allowing them to pick up parcels whenever they want.

The partnership also aligns with Westfield's sustainability ambitions that include reducing its carbon emissions by 50% by 2030.

InPost, which has parcel lockers across 1,000 locations in London, has also recently announced partnerships with transport network TfL and Tesco, adding to its existing network of over 100 partners that include retailers Missguided, New Look and Schuh.

Alyson Hodkinson, General Manager at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, said: “We’re delighted to welcome the InPost locker service to Westfield Stratford City and Westfield London, offering visitors and employees a convenient way to send and collect parcels, contact free. Most importantly, the lockers offer a sustainable solution to our customers as they provide the opportunity to save a significant amount of carbon emissions per year.”

Jason Tavaria, CEO at InPost UK, commented: “We’re very proud to have teamed up with Westfield to provide the thousands of people that visit both the Stratford City and London sites everyday the most convenient way to collect parcels and make returns. With Christmas just around the corner, we’re keen to make the shopping experience as stress free as possible, and our quick and easy to use lockers will certainly help with that.”
