Westfield to launch SOJO ‘Fix & Fit’ repair and alterations service
Westfield is backing the "era of circular fashion" with the launch of SOJO ‘Fix & Fit’, a repair and alterations service opening at both Westfield White City and Westfield Stratford on 25 June.
By bringing their garments directly to SOJO’s workshop, customers will gain access to expert in-house tailors who handle everything from zip replacements and trouser hems to full alterations and bespoke customisations.
The service is "designed to extend the life of clothing and embed circular fashion into everyday shopping culture", and customers can book tailoring, repair or refitting services directly - either in-store or online.
The launch sees SOJO, a B-Corp certified platform, provide a convenient, face to face option alongside its trusted door to door service.
Josephine Philips, founder and CEO of SOJO, said: "We’re thrilled to be launching SOJO Fix & Fit stores at Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City. This is all about integrating a repair culture into the very heart of shopping.
"Clothes deserve to be loved, worn and re-worn, and we’re making it simpler than ever for people to embrace that."
Katie Wyle, Director of Shopping Centre Management, Northern Europe at Unibail-Rodamco Westfield, commented: "We’re proud to be bringing SOJO to both of our centres – a move that reflects exactly what our customers are asking for: more sustainable, service-led retail experiences.
"SOJO Fix & Fit offers a smart and stylish solution to fashion longevity, perfectly aligned with Westfield’s commitment to shaping a more conscious retail future.
"With 59% of UK consumers seeking more reuse and repair options over the next five years, this partnership is both timely and essential."
Customers will be able to visit the SOJO ‘Fix & Fit’ workshop at both Westfield locations for a free consultation, where expert tailors will be on hand to take care of all alteration requests. Finished items can be collected in person or delivered to their door.
