Walpole, the industry body for the British luxury sector, has unveiled the 12 participants for its 2022 Brands of Tomorrow year-long mentorship programme.

Now in its 15th year, the initiative has helped develop and nurture emerging luxury brands including the likes of Orlebar Brown, Bremont, Emilia Wickstead and Miller Harris.

This year’s participants include second-hand fashion styling subscription service, Circle of Style, luxury women’s shirtmaker With Nothing Underneath, childrenswear company Petit Pli, luxury bridal and eveningwear brand Savin London, fashion and homeware brand Yolke, pre-owned designer handbags re-sale platform Luxury Promise and footwear and handbag maker Marion Ayonote.

There’s also skincare brands Liha Beauty and Decree, Lauren Dickinson Clarke scented candles, reusable bottle brand Ocean Bottle and Devon-based producers of fine bone China homeware, Feldspar.

Helen Brocklebank, CEO of Walpole, commented: “Since its launch fifteen years ago, Walpole’s flagship development programme, Brands of Tomorrow, has been a key pillar of our work to drive the growth of the British luxury sector.
“So far, we’ve taken 142 early-stage, high-end brands through a tried and trusted programme of mentoring and masterclasses, immersing their founders in the support, help and advice of their fellow Walpole members and investing the time and talents of established British luxury brands into nurturing and developing the potential of new ones.”
