WAH Nails founder launches first clothing and accessories line with ASOS
WAH Nails founder Sharmadean Reid MBE has designed her first ready-to-wear and accessories collection, which launches today at ASOS.
The 80s-look WAH LONDON x ASOS collection was inspired by Princess Diana's "incredible relationship with accessible sportswear through to luxury fashion forms".
Items include a short square-necked shift dress, a velvet shift with pearl shoulder straps, a double-breasted blazer, a turtle neck sweater with "Royal" emblazoned on the front and "Loyal" on the back, a cricket jumper with matching knitted skirt, and a double-breasted buttoned halter-neck dress.
Pearls feature heavily in the accessories line-up and are used as straps on heeled loafers, as well as on earrings, chokers and a charm bracelet. Other items include a gold "Princess" bracelet, a tartan iPhone cover and baseball cap with a bow at the back.
Prices range from £8 for the earrings to £80 for the velvet dress with pearl straps.
Reid said the collections embodies her own approach to dressing which mixes "East London attitude with West London flourishes".
Reid is one of the UK's best known entrepreneurs having founded her WAH Nails empire in 2009 which has been a pioneer in the nail art movement. In 2013 she partnered with Walgreens Boots Alliance to creat the WAH LONDON nail range, which now ships to 19 countries.
