Vogue unveils its first Future of Fashion documentary fronted by Alexa Chung
British Vogue has unveiled the first in a new series of documentaries on The Future of Fashion, fronted by style icon Alexa Chung.
In the film Chung meets with British Fashion Council ambassador and journalist Sarah Mower and designer Christopher Kane to discuss what it takes to get ahead as a designer in fashion. Both Mower and Kane agree that success comes from being part of a great team.
"I know how to draw bags and handbags, but I don't know how to make them! Practically you need those amazing, key knowledgeable people," Kane tells Chung.
The series can be viewed on Vogue's YouTube channel.
Last week Chung launched a shoppable style app Villoid, which operates in a similar way to Instagram but includes a "click to buy" function.
In a future episode of The Future of Fashion Chung visits trend forecaster WGSN and interviews its director of brand and owner of The Industry Lauretta Roberts.
