Victoria Beckham's Target line will include plus sizes

Victoria Beckham's hotly anticipated range for US retailer Target will go up to a size XXXL (the equivalent to a UK size 24) it has been revealed.

The 200-piece range goes on-sale on 9 April and all prices will be under £50. Beckham said in a statement that the decision to launch an accessible collection was taken to mark her daughter Harper's 5th birthday and the anniversary of her own brand. "I felt it was the perfect time to extend into a more accessible price point and to celebrate both milestones," she said.

VBxTarget, as it is known via its hashtag, will include clothing for women as well as children's, toddler and baby wear, and the aesthetic is heavily influenced by her second line Victoria, Victoria Beckham. Dresses in the Victoria range retail for around £400-£500, while sizes range from UK 4-14. Her main line is considerably more expensive with dresses priced at around £1,200 and above.

A source told the Daily Mail that there was "a lot hanging on this for Victoria – it’s so different to everything she has done before."

The collection will be available from the Target website with select items available from Victoriabeckham.com.
