Victoria Beckham Chair Ralph Toledano exits
Ralph Toledano, the Chair of Victoria Beckham, has confirmed that he will be stepping down from his position after eight years.
He told WWD in an interview that while he would always remain close with the designer, he felt the time was right to pursue new ventures.
He also shared that he felt "very serene" about leaving the brand at this point in time, as he is confident in the current leadership of Victoria Beckham and that the brand has a strong strategy. He also exited his role as partner at the private equity firm Neo, which holds a minority stake in Victoria Beckham.
Toledano, who served as President of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode from 2014 to 2022, added that while he was "technically" retiring, he sees his exit as the beginning of a "new chapter", focused on pursuing his personal interests, as well as mentoring fashion talent and helping people further their careers.
Toledano joined the brand as Chair in 2018, after being personally selected by the designer for the role. At the time, Beckham said she chose him based on his "unrivaled industry experience".
Since then, Toledano has worked with Beckham on building up her brand, which last summer reported another year of growth, with revenues up 26% to £112.7 million in 2024, despite an increasingly competitive luxury and beauty landscape.
This marked the fourth consecutive year of double-digit revenue growth for the company, once known for its high losses before a strategic reset began in 2019.
