Vestiaire Collective partners with repair and alteration platform Sojo
Luxury resale platform, Vestiaire Collective, is partnering with clothing repair and alteration service, Sojo, so that customers can make purchases with the knowledge that they can quickly and easily get adjustments if needed.
Sellers will also be able to get any necessary repairs, potentially increasing the sale value of a piece before listing the item, as well as being able to list more pieces by fulfilling Vestiaire Collective’s eligibility criteria - including no tears or holes.
Sizing can be a common problem when people buy vintage and second-hand clothing online, and Vestiaire Collective says that up to 65% of its returns are down to fit, so the new partnership will help to lessen return rates.
Vestiaire Collective customers will have access to tailoring and repair services from expert tailors, as well as Sojo’s zero emissions collection and home delivery service.
Once a customer has received their purchase, they can book the alteration they need on-site and organise a Sojo item collection. The piece will then be repaired at Sojo’s in-house repair studios before being delivered directly back to the customer.
