Versace appoints former Alexander McQueen boss as CEO

Luxury fashion group Capri Holdings has appointed Emmanuel Gintzburger as the new Chief Executive Officer of Versace, effective 12 September 2022.

Gintzburger joins Versace from Alexander McQueen, where he served as CEO since May 2016. Prior to this, he was Worldwide Retail and Wholesale Director for Saint Laurent and International Retail Director at Lanvin.

In his new role, Gintzburger will report directly to John D. Idol, Chairman and CEO of Capri Holdings.
