US childrenswear and maternity brands to open debut UK store
Children’s fashion house Janie and Jack is opening a new dual-concept retail store with premium maternity fashion and beauty brand Hatch, marking a "significant step" in their global expansion.
Located in London’s Chelsea, within the historic Gaumont Building on the King’s Road, the new store marks the brands’ UK debut - offering a "curated, elevated shopping experience for modern families".
Showcasing everything from maternity essentials and children’s apparel to gifting and seasonal collections, the space is designed to support every key moment in family life.
Mo Beig, President and Chief Financial Officer of Matri Group, parent company to both brands, said: "Our London opening represents more than a retail expansion - it’s a symbol of our evolving vision.
"We’re building a connected community that supports families from maternity through childhood where design, craftsmanship, and style come together across every stage of life."
Janie and Jack is a children’s clothing brand founded in 2002 in San Francisco, California. Hatch, founded in 2011, is a maternity brand offering fashion, skincare, and beauty products designed for use before, during, and after pregnancy.
The Chelsea opening will serve as both brands’ flagship UK location and a key foundation for future international expansion under the Matri Group.
Parnell Eagle, President of Janie and Jack, said: "This next phase is about deepening our connection with modern families while bringing a new expression of our signature style to London - timeless design, beautiful craftsmanship, and a sense of occasion in every detail.
"We’re excited to bring our vision of contemporary family style to London’s most iconic shopping destination."
Danielle LaFleur, President of Hatch, added: "Hatch has always represented thoughtful design and a modern approach to motherhood.
"We’re thrilled to share our perspective with London - celebrating women with intention, confidence, and style."
