Uniqlo opened the doors to its revamped London flagship on Friday and welcomed 500 customers through the door in the first 10 minutes of trading.

The store's refurbishment included significant expansion of selling space from three floors to five plus the introduction of a new concept space, the Uniqlo WearHouse London where the brand's LifeWear concept will be brought to life.

In addition, the 2,240sqm store also features a new roof terrace offering stunning views of the capital, which will be used to stage cultural events.

To celebrate the launch Uniqlo held a competition called Unlock London. Customers were handed postcards at Oxford Circus carrying a unique code, which when brought to the rooftop, could be redeemed against 40 possible prizes, all based on a London theme.
