Global apparel retailer UNIQLO is to launch a collaboration collection with Parisian brand Paul & Joe, featuring an array of pop culture and art graphics from around the world.

The upcoming collection is intended to "allow the wearer to express their individuality" through art and pop graphics, translated through the eyes of Paul & Joe.

The lineup features womenswear and kidswear items in soft pastels with floral motifs including chrysanthemums, characteristic of the Paul & Joe brand, and Lily of the Valley. It also presents bold designs of the brand’s iconic cats.

TheIndustry.fashion has created a gallery featuring items from the collection:

Founded by Sophie Mechaly in 1995, Paul & Joe has become known for its playful use of print and colour. Today, the brand is no longer just a ready-to-wear brand with the addition of Paul & Joe Eyewear, Beauté, stationery and the latest Paul & Joe tableware and nightwear line.

Speaking about the collection, Mechaly said: “This collaboration with UNIQLO came about because their commitment to offering everyday clothing matches my desire to create apparel that finds favour with everyone. I also sympathised with the company's approach to manufacturing, which pursues quality.

“For this collection, I want people to coordinate items as they like, whether that’s by mixing plain and patterned pieces or matching patterns. I want to share the joys of spring.”

Priced between £7.90-£39.90, the collection is due to be launched Monday 29 March 2021.
