Uniqlo continues UK retail expansion with new stores in Birmingham and Glasgow
Uniqlo has today announced plans to open two more UK stores this autumn, including a debut Midlands store at Birmingham’s Bullring Shopping Centre and another on Argyll Street in Glasgow.
The high street fashion retailer has also revealed that’s its highly-anticipated new 15,392 sq ft store at Liverpool ONE will open on 24 April 2025.
Following the success of Uniqlo’s first store in Scotland on Princes Street in Edinburgh in April 2024, the new 12,916 sq ft store in Glasgow with be set over three floors.
The 11,840 sq ft store at Birmingham’s Bullring, located on New Street in the heart of the city, will also boast three floors of Uniqlo "LifeWear for all genders and ages".

Uniqlo currently has 20 stores in the UK. The most recent to open was in October 2024 at Westfield White City, which came swiftly after its September 2024 opening at Coal Drops Yard in London’s King Cross.
Following the opening of Uniqlo’s Liverpool ONE store in April, and its Birmingham Bullring and Glasgow stores in autumn 2025, the total of Uniqlo stores in the UK will rise to 23.
The announcement of Uniqlo’s scheduled opening at the Bullring follows further major investment from international brands at the destination, including ZARA's new 51,000 sq ft flagship and Sephora’s Midlands debut.
