Under Armour appoints two new board members
Under Armour has appointed Carolyn Everson and Patrick Whitesell to its Board of Directors, effective 1 February 2023.
Everson has served as a Senior Advisor for private equity firm Permira since January 2023. She has previously worked as President of Instacart and Vice President of the Global Business Group at Meta Platforms, Inc. In addition, Everson is a board member of The Walt Disney Company and The Coca-Cola Company.
Whitesell has served as Executive Chairman of sports and entertainment company Endeavor Group Holdings since October 2017. He is also on Endeavor's Board of Directors. Whitesell previously worked as Endeavor's Co-CEO, following his role as Co-CEO of WME.
In addition to the two appointments, Under Armour has announced that Harvey Sanders will retire from its Board of Directors on 31 March 2023. Sanders has served the board since November 2004 and is currently chair of the company's Human Capital and Compensation Committee.
The news follows the appointment of Stephanie Linnartz as Under Armour's new President, CEO and member of its Board of Directors, effective 27 February 2023.
