Unbound Group CFO steps down

Unbound Group has today announced that Dan Lampard, Chief Financial Officer, intends to step down from his role, effective 1 October 2022.

Lampard is leaving the company to take up the position of CFO with another business, the name of which is yet to be confirmed.

Together with Chief Executive Officer Ian Watson, Lampard will soon present the Company's interim results for the six months ending 31 July 2022, which will be announced on 20 September 2022.

Gavin Manson, currently a Non-Executive Director of Unbound Group, will take over as Chief Financial Officer with effect from 1 October 2022. Mason is described as "a highly experienced listed company CFO, who has led digital and business transformation in the consumer sector in the UK and internationally for over 30 years".

Mason has been a director of Hotter Shoes, Unbound Group's main trading business, since 2017 and was instrumental in developing the Company's growth strategy. He will step down as Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee also with effect from 1 October 2022 and a search for a replacement has commenced.

The company also confirmed that Kate Rock will be appointed as interim Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee from 1st October.

Earlier this year, Unbound Group launched its long-awaited multi-brand platform. This initial launch focused on specialist footwear, which will be followed by a full launch of the Autumn/Winter proposition this month.
