Ulla Johnson leads raft of UK-first fashion openings in Chelsea this autumn

Last week saw the opening of New York-based designer Ulla Johnson’s first international flagship outside the US at 150 Sloane Street in London’s Chelsea.

Located next to Oliver Peoples on a corner site near Sloane Square, in a building that also houses Emilia Wickstead, the new opening marks the first of a swathe of UK-first fashion retailer additions scheduled to open in Chelsea this autumn.

In October, Spanish womenswear label Byan will open its first London flagship at 149 King’s Road, French label Sézane will open a 3,319 sq ft store at 145 King’s Road, and London-founded luxury handbag brand DeMellier will open its first-ever store at 34-37 Sloane Square.

It has already been a busy summer for new openings within the Cadogan Estate, with Italian shoe brand BallereTTe having opened at 141 King’s Road, while last month saw French womenswear brand Maison 123 open its first-ever UK store at 92 King’s Road.
