Dubbed “the UK’s first genderfluid fashion store”, VERV opens its doors to customers in London today in Cambridge Heath.
The store stocks a variety of pieces from this year’s hottest queer designers like Patrick Church, NIHL and Palomo Spain. All clothing stocked is categorised as genderfluid, avoiding a specific gender label and creating unique silhouettes for any person to wear.
Alongside the new retail store, the brand has has launched an online shopping platform, offering some of the stock sold in-store. Klarna has partnered with VERV to offer customers the option to buy now and pay later.
In June 2019 VERV had a one month residency at a pop-up location in Hackney titled “#GENDERF*CK” in collaboration with FGUK Magazine during London Fashion Week Men’s.
VERV is owned and managed completely by queer, transgender and intersex people of colour. Run by Sannu Shrestha, Managing Director, and Abdul Adama the Creative Director of VERV said: “We came together with one goal, we want to challenge gender norms and celebrate individuality and self-expression.”
VERV’s new store is located in the heart of East London at 367 Cambridge Heath Road, E2 9RA.
