UGG introduces its first exclusive monthly drop project "12x12"

Global lifestyle label, UGG has announced the launch of an exclusive monthly drop sneaker collection 12x12.

12x12 is an aspiring, year-long footwear project that will introduce a version of its new CA805 in-line styles every month this year. Its first drop comes with the label’s ambitious plan to launch exclusive products in collaboration with leading retailers across the world on a monthly drop basis, starting with Tokyo-based sneaker and streetwear brand Atmos for the January 2020 drop.

The first collection will be available in limited quantities across select retailers globally, including Atmos, on 17 January 2020. Items will then be sold in stores, such as premium menswear label End.

The “12 x 12” officially launched 16 January 2020, at Paris Fashion Week Men’s, when the first three statement sneakers were revealed. The new drop embodies UGG’s West Coast roots and pays tribute to its art and rich natural landscapes. The global brand has become increasingly popular across the Japanese sneaker market after a number of key collaborations with the likes of Eckhaus Latta, Rocky Mountain and Featherbed.

The first three months of releases from the collection have been confirmed, including:

  • January CA805 x 2020 sneakers - scheduled release date: 17 January 2020
  • February CA805 x Valentine sneakers - scheduled Release Date: 17 February 2020
  • March CA805 x Cedar sneakers - scheduled Release Date: 13 March 2020
