Italian womenswear brand Twinset Milano is focusing its attention on the UK market by opening its first two stores in London, planning a revamped dedicated UK e-store and exploring further wholesale opportunties.

The brand, best known for its feminine dresses and knitwear, has just opened its first store on London's King's Road and next month will open another in Westfield London's premium area, The Village.

It is also planning the launch of a revamped dedicated e-store for the UK market in October and is keen to explore further wholesale opportunities.

CEO Alessandro Varisco said the brand, which is part of The Carlyle Group, was targeting the UK on the back of strong e-commerce sales in the market, "we were being increasingly asked when we would have a bricks and mortar footprint here.”

“We’re hopeful our distinctive aesthetic – which holds global appeal with an Italian accent – flattering silhouettes and premium textiles and detailing will resonate with cosmopolitan Londoners,” Varisco added.

To further underscore its bid to appeal to the UK market, the brand has also drafted in British models Georgia May Jagger and Suki Waterhouse to star in its AW18 campaign (pictured top).
