International accessories brand Tumi will be relocating to a new global flagship store on Regent Street, occupying 3,570 sq ft unit.

Located on a prominent corner at Carrington House, the new Tumi store will span the ground and basement floors and will showcase its full collection of modern luggage and bags in the company's latest store concept.

Landlord GPE confirmed that the Tumi store at 128-130 Regent Street is expected to open in September 2022. Premium footwear and handbag brand Russell & Bromley currently occupies the premises.

GPE has also let the adjacent 2,650 sq ft unit at 126 Regent Street to an undisclosed retailer who is also relocating to create a new flagship offer.

Sarah Goldman, Senior Portfolio Manager at GPE said: “These deals show that London’s retail market is turning a corner. With footfall now recovering to pre-pandemic levels ahead of the Elizabeth line opening in the coming months, it’s an exciting time for these brands to be opening their latest stores in the capital.”

Mark McGuigan, TUMI General Manager UK & Ireland commented: “The UK is a key market for TUMI, and the relocation of our flagship store to Carrington House shows the confidence we have in London, and specifically the West End and Regent Street itself. We look forward to showcasing our new ranges in a brand new and exciting shopping environment.”

The Elizabeth Line, London's newest underground tube line will officially open before the end of June 2021, offering retail businesses, commuters and tourists an easier route through the city.
