London-based luxury leather goods brand Carl Friedrik has launched with luggage and accessories retailer Case London.

The travel goods label's collection of suitcases and leather accessories will now be available to buy at the Case's Piccadilly flagship, as well as its concession in Harrods and Heathrow Terminal 2 Airside store.

Founded in 2012 by Swedish brothers Mattis and Niklas Oppermann, Carl Friedrik's luxury travel goods are crafted from lightweight polycarbonate as well as Italian Vachetta leather. The brand launched a new premium five-piece Rover collection of bags in July, featuring pieces in luxurious soft nubuck.

The collaboration with Case marks a new direction for Carl Friedrik, which mainly operates through its D2C channel. The label said the move will benefit consumers by giving them the opportunity to experience Carl Friedrik’s luxury suitcases and accessories firsthand before buying.

Niklas Oppermann, Co-founder of Carl Friedrik said: “We’re excited that a store of Case’s calibre will be stocking our travel accessories. More prospective customers will be able to discover the brand and get a feel for the quality & fine craftsmanship that encapsulates our offering”.

Through the years, Case has developed a strong foothold and knowledge of the industry, with a presence in luxury department store Harrods, as well as Heathrow and Gatwick airports.

Nic Crossick, Managing Director of Case added: “Carl Friedrik is a brand we’ve seen develop over the last few years and we are delighted to be showcasing the brand both in-store and online. Their products have a great design aesthetic with an excellent price-value relationship. As always, we are looking for best-in-class products and we believe that Carl Friedrik aligns with our ethos”.
