Trailberg to open first brick-and-mortar store at Manchester Arndale
UK clothing brand, Trailberg, has today announced it will be opening its first permanent store at Manchester Arndale after signing a 5-year lease for a 1,300 sq ft unit.
Trailberg is all about providing mountain runners with the freedom of movement, breathability, and durability to tackle even the toughest trails.
Its range of tracksuits, twinsets, windbreakers, hoods, quarter zips and shorts have proved popular with shoppers across the UK despite mainly being available online, through partnerships or third-party retailers such as Footasylum.
The new store, located in the former Cruyff space, will allow fans of the brand to shop its full range in person for the first time.
Steve Gray, Head of European Retail Asset Management at Global Mutual, added: "We always enjoy working with new and innovative businesses, so it is great to see Trailberg select Manchester Arndale for its first store. Trailberg has become a popular UK brand, especially in the North West, and we expect their new store to become popular with our shoppers.
"Having a strong mix of brands is vital to maintaining a popular retail destination. Not only does it help to attract strong footfall, but it also encourages interest from both international and local brands keen to benefit from the centre’s reputation as the go-to shopping destination for the North West. As a result, we are close to agreeing on further leases with several big-name brands which will take the centre closer to full occupancy."
