Tracee Ellis Ross, the award winning US actress, CEO and producer will be the host of The Fashion Awards, taking place in London on 2 December.

Ross is best known for her Golden Globe-winning role as Dr Rainbow Johnson on the ABC comedy series black-ish and for playing Joan Clayton on the long-running hit series Girlfriends.

Daughter of legendary singer Diana, Ross is also celebrated for her sense of style and has amassed nine million social media followers with whom she shares often humorous images of her street style.

She is the winner of many awards herself having won the 2017 Golden Globe Award and four NAACP Image Awards. She also garnered three Primetime Emmy nominations and two Critics Choice Award nominations.

As one of the founders of the #TimesUp movement, Ross is actively involved in working towards the goal of creating safety and equality in the workplace. An outspoken supporter for women’s rights, she has become an influential voice in conversations around diversity, equality and female empowerment.

The Awards ceremony, which acts as a fundraiser for the British Fashion Council's education pillar, takes place at the Royal Albert Hall. It has already been announced that fashion legends Giorgio Armani and Naomi Campbell will receive honorary prizes, while the full list of nominees was released earlier this month.
