Topshop relaunches its website and yes, there are Jamie and Joni jeans

Topshop is officially back. Years after Topshop closed its standalone site, it has today relaunched and there's one very important detail: Jamie and Joni jeans are back.

For anyone who grew up in the 2010s, these names are practically sacred. The Joni high-waist skinny and Jamie skinny were cult classics. But the website relaunch isn’t just about denim nostalgia. Topshop is celebrating its return in style, with Cara Delevingne fronting a 30-piece Autumn/Winter 2025 capsule, exclusively on Topshop.com.

Delevingne, whose early career was defined by Topshop campaigns in the 2010s, said: "As a London girl, Topshop was the place where fashion felt fun, fearless, and full of possibilities. Coming back to Topshop now is more than a return – it’s about starting something new. This collection is about owning your style, your story, and feeling empowered to express that every day."

The A/W25 edit features sharp tailoring, statement outerwear, and updated classic denim, including the aforementioned Jamie and Joni jeans, proving that some things never go out of style.

Plus, Topshop is turning up the volume with a public runway show in Trafalgar Square tomorrow, Saturday 16 August. Described by the brand as "more than a runway, more than a party," the open-air event will transform the iconic London landmark into a street-party-meets-catwalk experience. The show will debut Topshop and Topman’s full Autumn/Winter 2025 collections in a see-now, buy-now format, with selected pieces available immediately after the show.

Topshop is leaning into London’s creativity and cultural energy, collaborating with Good Times, co-founded by Notting Hill Carnival legends Norman Jay MBE and Melvo Baptiste, to bring music, community, and celebration to the heart of the city. Selected emerging models from an open casting of unsigned talent aged 18–35 will walk the runway, while beauty is led by Sofia Tilbury and the Charlotte Tilbury team. Fans can expect everything from bold outerwear and sharp tailoring to statement dresses and denim classics, all steeped in Topshop’s signature mix of fun and edge.

The brand’s journey back hasn’t been straightforward. Topshop exited the high street in 2020 after the collapse of Arcadia Group, before ASOS purchased the brand and integrated it into its platform in 2021. In 2024, a joint venture led by Heartland and Bestseller acquired Topshop, setting the stage for the high-profile relaunch and selective retail partnerships across Europe. Since then, there has been speculation and subsequent teases that Topshop would return to the high street. Though this has yet to come to fruition, fans of the brand are revelling in the joy of having Topshop's site back in the meantime.

However, a spokesperson for Topshop told TheIndustry.fashion: "Topshop and Topman will also return to UK stores for AW25 via a partner, still to be announced. Watch this space."

Whether you’re a nostalgic fan who grew up in a sea of acid-wash denim or a new generation discovering the brand for the first time, Topshop is making one thing clear: it's back. Tomorrow, Trafalgar Square will be the place to see it all unfold.
