Tommy Hilfiger to open new stores in Glasgow and Aberdeen

Tom Bottomley
06 April 2021

Lifestyle brand Tommy Hilfiger is to open two new stores in Scotland this spring, at Hammerson’s flagship shopping centre destinations - Silverburn in Glasgow, and Union Square in Aberdeen.

The stores will mark the return of Tommy Hilfiger, which was acquired by PVH Corp in 2010, to Scotland as part of the brand’s expanding UK store portfolio.

Both stores will open in-line with Scotland’s timing for non-essential stores reopening on 26 April, 2021 (though some non-essential retail in Scotland did begin to reopen from yesterday, 5 April, for click-and-collect services only).

Each store will be around 2,000 sq ft and will stock the Tommy Hilfiger SS21 menswear, womenswear and accessories collections, showcasing the brands “classic American” preppy style.

Iain Mitchell, UK Commercial Director at Hammerson, commented: “Across our portfolio, we’re always looking for exciting brands that deliver something new to our destinations.

"As a globally recognised name, Tommy Hilfiger is an incredible addition to our existing array of international and independent brands at Silverburn and Union Square. The announcement also highlights how the strongest locations remain in demand.”
