Icon Outlet at The O2 has announced international designer brand, Tommy Hilfiger childrenswear, will be the first new retailer to join its premium outlet offering since it reopened for trading on 15 June.

As one of London’s leading shopping destinations, Icon Outlet is set to welcome the new store in August alongside over 60 other brands including its sister store Tommy Hilfiger, Levi’s, Calvin Klein, Ted Baker, GAP, Nike and adidas.

Tommy Hilfiger childrenswear will open a new store on the upper level located a short distance from the Tommy Hilfiger for men and women, stocking its fashion lines for girls, boys and babies.

Adhering with government guidelines and Icon Outlet’s social distancing measures, the brand will adapt its own environment to ensure they can welcome all families safely and securely.

Last month, TheIndustry.fashion went to see the measures that have been put in place at The O2, including it’s shopping facilities – Icon Outlet at The O2:

Opening daily from 11-5pm, the new measures adhere to government guidelines, and include:

  • Installing clear signage and playing audio announcements.
  • Promoting one way systems where they apply; requiring visitors to keep to the left.
  • Payments only accepted via cards or contactless payments.
  • Thorough cleaning regimes, with additional hand sanitising stations provided.
  • The location of bathroom facilities have been separated to reduce queues.

In addition to the enhanced measures, many retailers have changed their internal store layouts to provide more room and easier navigation.
