Tod's unveils Pre-Fall 2022 collection
Italian leather goods company Tod's has unveiled its Pre-Fall 2022 collection, revisiting its heritage and the Italian lifestyle under the brand's new Creative Director, Walter Chiapponi.
As the brand's first Creative Director to be responsible for men’s and women’s fashion as well as leather goods, Chiapponi has continued his creative overhaul with this latest collection, blending different textures and visual contrasts with the house's craftsmanship.
The collection showcases an overlapping and juxtaposition of street inspiration with an artisanal matrix that may seem bold at first glance, but are designed to offer an increasingly eclectic wardrobe of everyday life.
For men, the offerings feature subtle plays on layering and elegant yet relaxed urban classics. The collection also presents a contemporary version of the Winter Gommino, square penny loafers, miltary boots and saddlebags. The women's offerings include a giant Tod's Kate chain, a bomber jacket, coats, and bags in the new half-moon version and a clutch.
