Tod’s has launched a new campaign under the title of ‘Italian Diaries’ for SS25, in celebration of its iconic ‘Gommino’ driving shoes.

Shot at Villa Talamo in Tuscany by photographer Oliver Hadlee Pearch, the campaign brings together five young talents – all sons and daughters of famous actors and musicians, described as “representatives of today’s creative generation”.

There’s model and musician Lennon Gallagher, son of Liam Gallagher and Patsy Kensit, actress and singer Ella Bleu Travolta, daughter of John Travolta and Kelly Preston, writer and director Stella Banderas, daughter of Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith, singer and actor Leo Gassmann, son of Alessandro Gassmann and Sabrina Knaflitz, and model and artist Roberto Rossellini, adopted son of Isabella Rossellini.

Their individual styles and creative backgrounds “merge seamlessly with the essence of Tod’s", showcasing how the ‘Gommino’ remains "a timeless yet ever-evolving symbol of elegance and craftsmanship", connecting past and present generations.

At the heart of the campaign is the Tod’s ‘Gommino’, described as "a symbol of Italian lifestyle and ‘Made in Italy’". Featuring the signature rubber pebble sole, for SS25 the shoes are available in suede or calf leather offered in the brand’s natural hues as well as a palette of bold colors such as yellow, light blue and orange, bringing a contemporary vibrancy to a timeless silhouette.

On being a part of the campaign, Lennon Gallagher, commented: "To me, the Gommino is a perfect representation of Italian design, luxurious and functional. It’s timeless. It’s a privilege to be part of the Tod’s legacy."

The book is dedicated to the beauty and unique passion that goes into all areas of Italian artisanal excellence and features an array of artisans in different fields.
