Tod’s confirms exit of CEO
Italian luxury group Tod's has confirmed the departure of Chief Executive John Galantic after less than two years in the role.
Galantic, who became CEO in September 2024, left the company at the end of April for personal reasons. His successor has not yet been named.
Diego Della Valle, grandson of founder Filippo Della Valle, will remain Chairman and President, while his brother, Andrea Della Valle, will continue as Vice Chairman.
Before joining Tod’s, Galantic spent 16 years at Chanel, where he served as President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to that, he was also President and COO at Coty for five years.
Founded in 1920, Tod's is known for its luxury footwear and leather goods. The group also owns brands including Roger Vivier, Hogan and Fay.
Tod’s products are recognised for their handcrafted production techniques, blending traditional Italian craftsmanship with contemporary design.
