Timberland launches campaign with four leading advocates across Europe

Timberland has launched its largest ever global campaign, partnering with four cultural leaders from the UK, France, Germany and Italy to help support community-led projects, investing in urban greening and local talent.

Each leader will invest in their own local initiatives. The fall campaign will then generate a public vote to decide which projects will benefit from a large-scale community and urban greening transformation in Spring 2022.

In the UK, South London Singer Songwriter, Joy Crooke, is collaborating with Timberland and InSpire Youth Club, St Peter's Church and Elephant & Castle. With youth clubs often underfunded, the aim of this collaboration is to boost creativity and drive engagement with nature and mental health in a series of workshops for young local people.

Giorgio D’Aprile, Senior Director of Marketing at Timberland EMEA, said: "It’s more important than ever that we invest time and energy into our local communities for a greener and better future.

"We have carried out a number of urban greening related projects over the last few years and we are now ready to create a movement of people and communities, inspiring each other to make the most of the nature they have around them.”

In Germany, Timberland has teamed up with Presenter Aisha Vibes to bring together young people aged 13 to 21 from different multicultural backgrounds and ethnicities.

Italian Writer and Music-industry Executive, Antonio Dikele Distefano, is committed to redeveloping non-profit amateur sports association.

In France, Professional Dancer, Jeny Bsg will be launching a dance program for youth in the suburbs of Paris, intertwining education of nature and how to protect it.

This season, for every pair of Ray City and Originals Ultra boots sold, Timberland will donate £5 towards the winning project.
