Contemporary tailoring brand Tiger of Sweden has appointed Christoffer Lundman as head of creative and design to lead the brand into its "next chapter".

Lundman has almost two decades of design experience, most recently as design director at Burberry, and has previously held senior roles with Tom Ford and Acne. In his new role Lundman will take overall creative control of Tiger Men’s, Women’s and Jeans lines "aligning them under one shared creative identity for the first time".

"As a Swede himself, Christoffer fully understands the importance and history of Tiger of Sweden to Scandinavian fashion. This twinned with his undeniable talent as a fashion designer makes for an incredibly exciting time to be part of the brand. I am sure his vision with the brand DNA will further build Tiger into a new and innovative future," said marketing director Per Hakans.

Lundman added that he was "very excited" to be joining the 100-year-old brand. "Tiger has achieved great things and there's an amazing foundation to build on. It felt like the right time to return home and the right brand to join," he said.

He joins the business on 1 June and his first collection will be AW18.
