Tiffany & Co. has become latest name in retail to donate to COVID-19 relief effects, announcing a $1 million commitment through The Tiffany & Co. Foundation.

According to a statement, the Tiffany & Co Foundation will allocate $750,000 to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organisation, and $250,000 to The New York Community Trust’s NYC COVID-19 Response & Impact Fund.

In addition, The Tiffany & Co. Foundation has signed onto Philanthropy’s Commitment During COVID-19 Pledge, a collective of over 500 organisations working to support members of the non-profit sector, as well as individuals and communities impacted by COVID-19.

Anisa Kamadoli Costa, Chairman and President of the Tiffany & Co. Foundation, said in a statement: "During this global health crisis, we must all be responsive to the urgent needs of our global communities. We are proud to support organisations providing immediate relief for communities impacted by COVID-19."

Tiffany & Co. are the latest in a series of businesses to donate funds towards COVID-19 relief efforts, including Tod's, The Hut Group and Ralph Lauren.
