Throwback x 007 launches in Selfridges
Streetwear brand Throwback has collaborated with 007 in celebration of the highly anticipated new James Bond film, ‘No Time To Die’, on a six-piece collection of hoodies, Tees and a MA-1 style bomber jacket that has just launched in Selfridges.
Founded by Forbes Under 30 Entrepreneur, Pasquale Vittorio d’Avino, Throwback Ltd. delves into a world of nostalgia, through art, music, film, sports and fashion, adding a unique twist to each moment through its signature sketch designs.
Italian digital artist Gianpiero D’alessandro has reimagined classic moments from the 007 archives for the licensed made in Italy collection (in partnership with Eon Productions, the company behind the James Bond/007 brand), which includes unique behind-the-scenes stills from past and famous Bond films such as ‘Dr. No’ (1962) and ‘Moonraker’ (1979), as well as images from ‘Golden Eye’ (1995) and ‘Tomorrow Never Dies’ (1997).
On the back of each piece are production anecdotes, “giving further insight into the 007 universe”.
The collection is also available to purchase from from Throwback's ecommerce store and the official 007 store. Along with the collection, a short film has been produced in Santa Maria del Pozzo Cloister, in the historical centre of Somma Vesuviana, Naples.
No Time to Die is set to hit cinemas on 30 September 2021, after a lengthy wait due to the lockdowns and restrictions brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
